    New Delhi, August 24 ANI: Union Sports Minister Dr. M.S. Gill on Sunday expressed his happiness over the decision of the Board of Cricket Control of India BCCI to enhance its grant to Rs 50 crore to National Sports Development Fund NSDF for the development of other games in the country. Dr. Gill said in his message, "The BCCI is our richest sports institution. The President, Sharad Pawar has been good enough to give Rs 25 crore earlier for the development of other games to a Sports Ministry's NSDF." He said I have been anxious that they should give more help and wanted them to rise to Rs 50 crore a year. I am happy that Pawar and the BCCI has decided to raise the grant to Rs 50 crore a year. "All our people will welcome this gesture, just when the country has done so well in the Beijing Olympics. I wish to thank Pawar and the BCCI and I am confident he will continue to expand his support to other games which do not have adequate finance," Gill added. ANI
